Although nothing has been set in stone latest rumours circulating the possibility of Robert Downey Jr. leaving his role as Iron Man behind after Iron Man 3 and the Avengers sequel have been spreading.

Yesterday news broke that Brazilian filmmaker Jose Padilha known for his merciless direction of Elite Squad and Elite Squad: The Enemy Within as well as next years release of the Robocop remake, is returning to the directors chair with yet another violent cop feature, for Warner Bros. the true crime thriller, The Brotherhood.

Heading back into the directors chair for the best sellers list is Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke who has now signed on to direct an adaptation of Karen Thompson Walker‘s best selling novel The Age of Miracles.
